Just noticed you have an SL1 on your system....if that is that case....Scratc live 2.5 will not work with an SL1 neither the remote will work with an earlier than scratch live 2.5....

But I just downloaded 2.5 an it allowed me to... If S1 didn't support 2.5 wouldn't I have gotten warning that it doesn't support and would of stopped the download

DO NOT listen to this guy. Serato 2.5 works PERFECTLY with SL1. As a matter of fact it is one of the few devices that does not have a know issue with installing 2.5 as seen here serato.com Furthermore I personally have used it almost every day since release with not one issue (that is not know already) to report. I have not used Remote yet as I am holding off for a month or two to see if they release it for Iphone (being I have two of them) so I can not vouch for its compatibility with SL1 although according to the release notes & forums you should have no issue with that either.

I agree I upgraded the sl1 w no problems but I'm not sure y the remote app doesn't work and I connected it via USB to make it easier ..if it is true that it doesn't work w the sl1 how can I be refunded..

Deejay Dave chill buddy, you dont have to yell (Caps On).... i did remember not being able to upgrade to 2.5 by using an SL1 through its setup menu, while 2.5 was already out.....i thought there was a reason for that, as a 2.5 manual also wasn't on the Ranes SL1 web page at that time as well...

However that was on 2.5s first day of release....it is there now,when I just checked again and Remote is inside the SL1s 2.5 manual...I do apologize for giving any wrong info to Commishnyse....for some reason that effort to upgrade to 2.5 back then was giving 2.4.4 as the latest version while using an SL1 connected..and 2.5 out...beats me...

P.s.

A couple of times that happened to me...I closed the remote app by double clicking the Home button and relaunched the app...Am using the latest recommended iTunes and 10.6.8 latest updates also, if that makes any difference. You can also try creating an AdHoc network and see if that works....but handshake is way faster....

I finally got it to connect but it seems to read 1 turntable only..

Its probably too simple to be your issue...but Is the remote enabled on the Setup of Scratch Live?

Well sorry...nothing more to think about....I guess you will have to wait for a mods input in regards to this...can you try the same setup on another's computer? If it works fine there at least you will isolate that its something that's got to do with your computer instead of anything else,,..not much help...but it's a start...

This sounds a little strange, its the first time I have heard this.
1. So does the Remote App only show one deck on the screen?
2. Or can you only control 1 deck but it shows 2 fine?

3. As Nikodb has said, are you able to test with another computer?
4. Are you able to try connect via Wifi to see if the issue also happens?
