Hi,

I was wondering when we will get this functionality back with the NS6. It worked flawlessly with ITCH.
It caught me and a fellow dj out last weekend, and I'm not best pleased that it has been taken out.

Can we please have an update.

Hey Nick,

That function is definitely still there for the NS6 and Serato DJ. I have uploaded a screenshot showing how you can get to the record panel in the main screen.

Are you getting any specific error messages when trying to record?

Hi Sam GG,

While recording on the NS6 I noticed during playback that anything said on the mic during recording wasnt picked up during playback. Is this something that was taken out intentionally or will this feature be added in an updated Serato DJ?

Side note: the volume of the mic output is horrible on the NS6. Any help regarding this is gladly appreciated.

Hey DJ Tantastic,

Unfortunately you cannot record the Mic internally with Serato DJ. If you want to record vocals over a mix you will need to record the master out using something like Audacity: serato.com

Kinda sucks since it was a feature in Serato Itch, but thanks for the quick response. Still hoping it returns in a future upgrade. Take care and thanks again.

I agree with you Dj Tantastic.... not having the ability to record the mic sucks big time!

Hey guys,

This is quite a common feature request. I understand that it is a bit frustrating as you could do this in ITCH. This could be introduced in a future release but I wouldn't be able to give you a timeframe for that.

I will close this thread for now and log it as a feature request.
