Whenever I exit on SSL every time I start it back up I have to setup my DJ-FX settings again. I have ultra knob effects setup on both sides. Echo Out on my left and Tremolo on my right. I turn both effects on with Echo Out staying at 100% depth and the Tremolo turned to about 60 or 70% depth. I turn off the deck 1 & deck 2 buttons because I have those assigned to buttons on my dicers. Whenever I exit and start SSL back up again nothing is saved. Both effects are turned off with the Deck 1 & Deck 2 buttons turned on the left effect bank and the Tremolo effect turned back up to 100%. I would like to be able to start up SSL with my settings saved so I don't have to keep going through the process every time.

I have attached two files one showing how I setup my DJ-FX and the other of how it looks after launching SSL.

Try this:

1. Open SSL.
2. Click Files.
3. Click on your House icon (usually named the user of the computer) in the first column of the Files window.
4. Click on the Library folder.
5. Click on the Preferences folder.
6. Hold down the cmd key and press the r key to "reveal" the info in the Preferences folder.
At that point a separate browser will open up.
7. From here, close down SSL but keep that browser window open.
8. Locate the Serato.ScratchLIVE.plist file, copy it to your desktop, and delete it from the Preferences folder.

Open SSL.

Does it save now?

I actually had tried this already but it didn't changed anything. I will give it another try later on today when I get to my computer to see if they save.

I just checked this to make sure I gave you the correct info.
The parameters, such as the wet/dry, of the effect will not save on shut down.
This is to avoid someone turning on their system and wondering why they don't hear anything out of a channel (because they had an echo out effect turned on and turned all the way up which would cut the incoming audio as an example).
What will get saved is the selected effects and where those effects are routed (either deck 1 or 2).
It looks like your system is working as it should:)

Not quite I don't have the effects routed to a deck when I shut down. I have both effects turned on and the deck buttons turned off. It's just the opposite when I start SSL back up. This can become annoying because might forget to get the setting set all back up and then I try to turn the effect on like the echo out during a mix and it doesn't come one and my whole mix can mess up or not turn out how I wanted to because aren't the same as when I shut SSL down.

The Deck selection options are also on by default. Once again, I think so when you engage an effect it actually does something.
