Ru, the point people are making is that most people can play stripper music all night and have people get down. Especially in urban clubs. What you are lacking is the skills to mix it and present if properly. Example, in my spot we have a DJ on Friday, and I play Sat. I was there on Friday, dancefloor just about all of primetime. When I played last night, I had the people coming in waves, so the floor would be full and then it would level out to 1/2 full and at one point when I played to much hip hop it was non existant . At the end of the night some people came up to me and said 'you did awesome, you DJ way better than the guy from Friday. The dj from friday, essentiallu jukeboxes, he tries to mix 128-105, 105 - 75, 75 - 83 and trainwrecks all night, or just plays songs out from beginning to end. So, the case is, yes you had them dancing all night, but what did the floor look like when you were transitioning songs, my guess is they stopped dancing till they found the beat. We have all heard what you sound like live, so you're not going to convince the forum about your brand, because we have all heard you live dude. Not trying to bash you, just the fact that you keep over-hyping yourself.
