Hey Msg415,

Thanks for getting in touch,

Check the following Macbook settings

1. Disconnect ALL usb devices.
-- This includes external drives / keyboards / mouses.
2. Connect your DDJ-SX and power it ON.
3. Click the APPLE (top left corner of your screen).
4. Navigate to SYSTEM PREFERENCES.
5. Open the SOUND preference window.
6. Navigate to the SOUND OUTPUT tab.
-- You should see your Macbook "Built-in" as a output option. SELECT THIS DEVICE.
-- You will also see the DDJ-SX as a device. DO NOT SELECT THE DDJ-SX.
7. Close the Sound Preference Window.

Check the following Serato DJ settings

1. Launch Serato DJ.
2. Load a track to Deck 1. Press PLAY.
3. Beside the virtual deck you will see a GAIN knob.
-- Can you see all green LED lights pulsing as the track plays?
-- Make sure the GAIN knob is set to a level where all GREEN led lights are pulsing.
4. At the top of Serato DJ you will see a MASTER GAIN OUTPUT knob.
-- Can you see all green LED lights pulsing as the track plays?
-- Make sure the GAIN knob is set to a level (around 12 o'clock) where all green LEDs are pulsing.
-- If green LED lights are pulsing on the top Master Gain Output this means an audio signal is leaving Serato DJ and being sent to your controller.

Check the following DDJ-SX settings

1. Channel 1 fader to the top position.
2. Channel 1 TRIM GAIN knob set to 12 o'clock.
-- You should see the LED lights on the DDJ-SX Channel 1 pulse up and down.
3. Set the Crossfader to the middle position.
4. Turn UP the MASTER LEVEL knob.

Do you now have an audio signal going to your speakers?

Let me know how you get on :)

Thanks!

Thanks for the instructions Jamie. Unfortunately, this still doesn't work on my Mac. The Master Gain Output on the top of Serato DJ does not register a signal leaving and being sent to the controller.

Serato DJ works fine when the controller isn't turned on.

Do you have any other suggestions?

Thanks.
