Serato DJ Pro 1.9.1

The Serato DJ 1.9.1 update includes a number of important bug fixes and performance improvements for all users, as well as Mac OS X El Capitan support for Rane Sixty‑Series mixers. The Mixars DUO, a brand new Serato DJ and DVS enabled 2‑channel mixer and the Numark NVII, four‑channel Serato DJ Enabled controller are also now supported in this update.

As well as this, 1.9.1 now offers support for the Pulselocker Basic Plan which gives users the option of streaming only. Start a free two week trial of Pulselocker within Serato DJ.

Numark NVII

Based on the Numark NV, the NVII has been refined with an all new silkscreen and design. This 4‑channel controller has dedicated FX controls and performance pads to utilise Serato DJ features. Library, FX and track information can be viewed on the dual high-resolution 4.3‑inch, full‑color screens which show real time feedback of Serato DJ so you can focus on your performance. The NVII incorporates touch‑activated knobs providing extra control of filters, EQ, and more. The Numark NVII is Serato DJ Enabled, no additional license purchase is required, just plug & play.

Mixars DUO

The Mixars DUO is a two channel plug and play battle mixer designed for Serato DJ complete with integrated Mini-Innofader. The DUO has 8 RGB backlit pads for cue points and sampler control. The built-in USB hub also provides 2 extra USB connections to allow integration with other devices. The Mixars DUO is a Serato DJ & DVS Enabled device and supports the use of Serato NoiseMap™ Control Vinyl or CDs with no additional license purchase.

Rane Sixty-Series mixer support in Mac OS X El Capitan

The Rane Sixty-One, Sixty-Two, Sixty-Four and Sixty-Eight are now supported on Mac OS X El Capitan, in conjunction with Serato DJ 1.9.1. There are updated drivers bundled in this update, which can be installed when running Serato DJ 1.9.1 with your hardware connected for the first time.

Updated drivers for the Rane SL2, SL3 and SL4 interfaces will be available shortly.

Pulselocker basic plan support

You can now use the Pulselocker Basic Plan with Serato DJ. This allows the streaming of two tracks at once via Pulselocker but does not provide any offline capabilities and is not cleared for use in public venues and clubs.

  • Potential for the Video Delay Compensation setting to reset to zero during a session
  • Playhead jumping to undefined position when connecting motorised platters
  • Playhead jumping to extreme negative value when enabling or disabling DVS expansion pack
  • Sample Player trigger modes not reflected when using Hercules DJ Control Jogvision pads
  • Hercules DJ Control Jogvision cue gain now useable within Serato DJ setup screen

Other Changes

  • Cue output respects master gain and output calibration

Known Issues

  • As well as Core 2 duo machines not being supported by Serato DJ since the 1.8.0 release they are also not supported by Pulselocker.
