When you say your "going through some folders" are you referring to crates, playlists, or actual folders within the Files window or outside of SSL?

When I am in serato I click files and it shows my external and drives etc. When i move my playlists folders to left section ( crate i think ) It gives me that error when I add files like that and serato shuts down and it only does it on my pc not on my mac pro or my Desktop

Are you trying to import files from your external, internal, or both?

You may want to try the latest beta --> serato.com

Try updating to 2.4.2 via that link I posted above.
If that doesn't work than, yes, a reinstall will probably fix the issue.
