I'm having the same issues as described by this user.

serato.com

The controller is not detected by my mac, and only the strips are glowing.
I've tried connecting it to a pc, and the behavior is the same.

On the previous user request, the guys didn't get a solution. And as i'm a travelling dj, i won't be back in My city anytime soon.

I need a quick solution as i have a gig on friday

Quick update.

WIthout me doing anything, the controller is now detected by the computer. It correctly appears in the usb details. And it does appears and work as a sound card in traktor. But still i can't use it as a controller, and it's not even detected in itch. It also doesn't appear as active in the midi panel.

strange ....

Hey Syroz,

O.k, you said you are having a similar problem as in the Serkan thread.

If the behavior is the same on another computer it looks like you might have a faulty unit. If you just brought it i'd send it back. There's no downloadable drivers for it they come with ITCH on install and it's happening on P.C too.. Let me know how you go.

Hello There,

sorry for the late reply i was travelling. I'm still, materfact.

And since i'm travelling i can't turn it back at the moment. In the meantime i don't know what i did but the problem evolved.

The Unit is no detected as a sound card. As such i can use as default output. But still no way of using is as controller, itch always says "hardware disconnected".

what changed :

- no more flashing strip, they are still
- Unit correctly detected in the hardware list
- Unit is working correctly as a sound card.

any clue ?

O.k set your Default sound card as your normal internal card (Not TWITCH) then go to the Utilities > Audio MIDI Setup > Window (located top task bar) MIDI Window.

In the Midi Window you should see that TWITCH Icon driver, with the TWITCH disconnected delete that icon then re-connect your TWITCH, it should show back up again.

Then re-open ITCH and see if it shows up.

Hello Dave,

I did as you requested and the the twitch didn't show back up after deletion in the midi window.
And still no sign of detection by ITCH.

God i don't know what to do !

O.k if it's not showing up, try different usb ports, make sure if you are using a usb hub that it's powered :) it should show up, does it light up at all?

Update ! :

I've tried the controller on a windows 7 pc and after installing the drivers, it worked like a charm.

Tried back on my mbp, still not working. Detected by the mac a sound card, but not by itch !
So i have the feeling that it must be driver related. what would you suggest ?

Hey Syroz,

Try reinstalling ITCH with the TWITCH connected, this may help driver install again.

I did, many times still no luck. I've installed traktor too and it's the same issue. The unit is detected as a sound card but it doesn't respond as controller.

Do you think reinstallin the os will do any good ?

Just a quick update !

i reisntalled my system and it's now working like a charm (up until now at least).

which seems to indicate that it's a driver problem !

That great news, sometimes that's what it takes. Conflicts can be really tricky. Glad it's worked.
