I just updated my serato scratch live to 1.8.2 and I noticed a lot of problems with it.
I was Djing at my usual spot on thursdays and had problems all night. Good thing we had cd's cause otherwise it would have been a disaster. First thing I noticed was that when I did the zoom in and out of the text my computer will freeze for a couple of seconds. Then next thing I noticed was that all my cue points weren't there anymore and I was really mad. Then, I couldn't load a song on my right deck unless I loaded first on my left deck. After a while of up and downs at the end of the night I couldnt load a song at all and when it did serato crashed on me and the horrible rainbow came up. I had to restart my 3 times because it would do the same thing everytime i turned on my computer. Like I said good thing I had cd's cause otherwise I dont know what would i have done. Today when I was home I put my hard drive to my other laptop runnig on 1.8.1 and my cue points were all there. Oh and I almost forgot, Also last night when I was at the club every song that I load up will read the waveform all over again as if I hadn't done my overviews and I checked and they were all built.

Have anybody had problems with 1.8.2 ??

Btw I run a MacBook Pro 2.2 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo
4 Gb ram
and My book Ext Hard Drive [Usb] 500 GB

Woah man, that sounds strange... I've got a MBP 2.33 GHz Core 2 Duo, 4 GB RAM, OS X 10.5.5 and Scratch Live 1.8.2, no problems at all, cue points stay in tracks, no crashes, etc...
Did you upload to 10.5.5 at the same point as 1.8.2 to Scratch Live?

Did you have the problemwith 1.8.1 and 10.5.5?

I'm runnign 10.5.4 but I shouldn't have any of these problems whatsoever so I have no idea what's going on

for the missing cue info ect, try rescanning the ID3 tags and then rebuild your overviews.

Your system is not acting normal at all. These are not common for users on the 1.8.2 version so we'll need to dig deeper, but there is a place to start ;)

Well, I switched back to 1.8.1 and have no problems at all. To me there is something wrong with 1.8.2 but for some reason I'm the only one who has these problems

maybe try a fresh install of 1.8.2

You seem to have a large number of problems that shouldn't be there. Your computer is well above specs so to me IF it was 1.8.2 it would seem to be something got buggerd up in the install process.

Yea, I'll try to install it again on sunday since I got to dj at a club tonight and tomorrow night and monday but I will have sunday off so I will do that and try it and report back if I still have problems.
Thank you for your support
