Hi guys.

I have soundtrack pro but doesn´t seem to let you save your recordings in mp3 format!?!?

Am I going to have to use my old laptop to do vinyl recordings or can you all recommend some other software for mac?

Thanks.

You can try Audacity, it's a free, multi-platform, open source wave editor. It can save to mp3 (needs lame.dll file, easily found by Googling) and wav format. Though you should ALWAYS save any recording to wav first, then convert to mp3 later. Never save the master recording as mp3.

Thanks for the heads up Konix... Sadly I´ve recorded a fraction of vinyls as MP3s... I´ll save as wav from now on. At least I´ve only done about 10 records, I´d have hated to have found this out after doing my whole collection! Will try this software.. cheers mate.
