right deck not reading correct turntable pitch

Sorry, wasn't really sure of a good subject for this problem, but basically I have my right turntable pitch set to 0, spinning at 33rpm. serato reads this as if I have my pitch set to -25%, and the status bar for the needle signal (the little bar above abs/rel/int that should fill up gray) only fills gray 80%. Consistently. I first saw this Saturday, running 1.8.0 on my G4 powerbook 10.4.11, and then I erased Serato, installed 1.8.2, and using different turntables/mixer the problem is still here. In both instances, I set the right turntable to 45rpm, and the pitch is perfect. What the...?

Thinking that my serato box may have something to do with it, I tried switching out the laptop with another macbook running serato on windows, using the same turntables/mixer/SL1, there is no problem at all...

Hi DJ Wunder,

Check the 33-45 setting on the main screen of Scratch LIVE - that sounds like the problem. See this pic here: i455.photobucket.com

Once again the Serato staff have proven that they are as quick to remedy a problem as I am to incorrectly diagnose it. Of course that worked perfectly, I honestly never noticed those buttons before in 2 years of using serato. Why are they there, by the way?

They are basically there as a feature to enable DJ's to use their turntables at 45RPM. If you set your turntable at 45, you can then set Scratch LIVE to 45 and have the feeling / speed of a DJ playing 45 RPM records. Not a feature I use personally, but i'm sure some people do....
