hey all. i had a radio gig last Saturday night and they had a rane ttm 57 hooked up.. when i went up and connected it to my comp it ssl said no hard ware found.. so i couldn't use my comp the hole night and i ended up using another dj's laptop for the 3 hours of radio time i had.. witch really screwed me up.. anyone know y it didn't connect?

more than likely you just needed to run the driver_updater.

the file should already be on your computer. What version of Scratchlive are you using?

im using the latest version.. how do i run a driver update?

Hi Dj Ell,

Windows requires you install a driver for (almost all) USB devices. The 57 has a slightly different driver to your SL 1, which means it wouldn't of been installed when you initially installed Scratch LIVE. For next time - as Chad explained - just run the driver updater tool, with the 57 connected.
The driver updater is found in c: > program files >serato >driver_updater.exe

It will install the drivers for your hardware to what ever port you have the hardware connected to.
