i am using serato scratch live and the volume on the serato keeps coming up when theres no song selected. its like a crackling noise. ive seen the microphone on but i dont no how to turn this off or get rid of the volume even when i turn the notch down on the mic the noise is still there.can anyone help me please.
i checked all my connections even changed it to normal vinyl and everything is still working fine.
and the other thing is i always get usb current notice saying its drawing too much power but i dont have anything on when i turn serato on the same thing applies that message comes up and i need to fix this problem.
thanks

try getting the external power supply for the SL-1.

Is everything grounded proper? Does the buzz still exist if you pull the power cord from your laptop and run it just on battery power?

Are you running any other usb devices?

here is the new 1.8.2 version. I'd be curious if the problem persists there as well.

Sounds like a calibration issue.
Check out this video that Konix made --> Watchwww.youtube.com

i have an external power supply but a buzzing noise keeps coming out its a 8v dc adaptor. ive checked all the grounds there all fine. the buz still does exist when the cord on the laptop is off.
i havent run any other usb devices. i sold my pro tools that didint work got a focusrite saffire le interface and thats not working cause the message still comes up usb drawing too much power.
i also tried running 1.8.2 but i had problems it would take long to load and the message with all the languages came up so i had to restart the computer.
now i have scratch live 1.8.0.
is there anything i can do to sought this problem out

Did you watch the video above?
Also.. you need to be using a 9v DC that is at least 300mA.

make sure your serato cables are not close to any adaptor, i always get a buzzing noise when i hold the cable's close to a adaptor

i have a 9v dc adapator with at least 300ma but i get a buzzing noise everytime i connect it. is this because i have everything so close to each other.
and i have also put serato away from the amplifier, mixer and turntables. the noise has gone away but i still can hear it faintly coming from the speakers.
should i rearrange my setup example amp on the floor serato beneath the table and mixer and turntables on the table. will this make the problem go away.

So as long as you don't connect the adapter you don't have any issues?

If so, try connecting everything to the same power strip.

yes ive done that as well connecting everyhing with the same power strip.
i will change my set up at home around just so everything is not close to each other. and see how that goes.
