Hi,

I'm planning on getting an MC on my set soon. My mixer has only got two channels, and the mic is locked to the first channel - so it's hardly ideal as an MC input. Can I use the Mic Thru on Scratch Live to achieve what I'm after? What's the best result I could get with my existing setup?

I'm planning on playing a set tonight, so help ASAP would be much appreciated. Worst case, I'll just have to lock him to the first channel.

Well, the MIC in on the SL1 is used to record the MIC. The thru is used to run the vocals into your mixer so the crowd can hear what you or the MC is saying. SO it seems you are going to have to lock him into first or use atleast another 2 channel mixer you can plug your set up and his MIC into.
