Hi,
Quick question - I'm using Scratch Live (rocks!) with a Denon HC4500 head unit controller but cannot seem to change the pitch range to anything other than +/-8%. I've used Pioneer CDJ400's and the selector on the CDJ works fine and changes from +/-6%, +/-10% to +/-16% in internal mode but for some reason I cannot change the pitch range on the Denon unit. I can use a mouse to up the range to +/-16% directly on the PC (but this sucks!) and the display on the HC4500 changes accordingly but if I move the pitch slider, I'm immediately back to a +/-8% range. I've got the latest HC4500 firmware (v1005).
Is this option supported in Serato? Also I notice the effects (Esp Brake) aren't available in Serato. Are there any plans to include these functions?
Thanks :)

As for the pitch issue, SSL used to allow the 4500 to Pitch +/- more than 8 but users were complaining that this made the pitch control on the 4500 too sensitive -- so it is now set to the +/-8 limit.

Brake is available in SSL.
Go to the playback tab in setup to adjust the brake speed.
Press the play/stop button on the Denon to brake.
I don't know if built in effects will ever be added.
If its something you'd like to see please post in the 'feature suggestions' section.

Cheers for that. I know about the brake facility within the setup facility, but was referring to the built in facility on the Denon. Sorry, I didn't make it very clear!
I'd like to see the option to change the pitch range (from say +/-4% to +/-8% to +/-16%) being a user defined option (Either by Denon head unit or within Serato setup). At least dj's can have choice on the limits of the pitch range rather than it being fixed (like the cdj400's)
Thanks guys!

Yes!!!! I think it should be an option as well. By being fixed it limits the creativity factor.
