I'm using a HP Pavillion dv6000 2.5 AMD 100gig HD with 2 Gigs of RAM Vista 32 bit. I only use my CPU for SSL and nothing else. I can run my latency between 3-5 with a dropout followed by a pop every so often.
Althoe i haven't installed Ableton yet my question is if i run SSL and Ableton at the same time am i gonna have any issues? More drop outs or anything else. I just wanna use Ableton for the drum rack to load drums and synths on my mpd24 so i can drum during breakdowns and just get a lil more animated.
I got another laptop but was just wondering if i could accomplish what i'm going for with my current laptop.
