I'm looking for a quick and easy way to get a list of new music that I added to my crate so that I can quickly nav through that list and select tracks based on date imported.

Add the "added" column (which is the date/time you added the song) to your crates, then you can click the header to sort by it, then all your new files will be at the top of the track list in the crate (or bottom if you double click it to reverse sort it).
