I just bought a new external Harddrive, and i'm going to transfer all music to it. will it save all my crates when I plug it into Scratch live. If not how do I get my crates over from old drive....

Are you replacing another old external drive, or are you wanting to transfer everything from the internal drive to the external drive?

Just replacing an old external drive. The one I use now is kind of old, so I bought a new one to start using, then I will make the old drive a backup.

Hello Kdogg,

What version of SSL are you running?
I would update to 1.8.2 if you haven't already.
Once done, open SSL with your old drive connected, and then shut SSL down.

Now you can copy everything on the old drive to the new drive by just highlighting everything and moving it all at once.

This will move all of your crate files as they are stored in the _ScratchLIVE_ folder.
