Got the keylock function turned off on the CD players on your Prodigy? No effects running either? None of that works with SSL and will cause tracking problems as you described.

hi, thank you for your response. i looked through the manual. i don't even know what a key lock function is. the effects are not running. nothing is. i don't even have the volume on. i did as the manual said and put the CDs in. don't play them. and hold the estimate button down on each CD channel in serato. nothing happens when i do this and when i play the control CDs i do not have the volume on. i have perfect circles in the graph, but it is fuzzy on the inside.

yes.
1. i changed the rpms to 45 and the calibration works a little better. in the 80s somewhere. constantly moving up and down. this is in my room. the noisiest thing is the air conditioner which is close by.

2. another big problem is that every time i open serato it reloads my itunes crates and does not show my playlists.

3. also, 90% of the songs have a disc that looks like it has a crack in it. so that means i need to "re-encode" them? what does that mean? why does serato keep doing this?

It turns out Micaiah had the master tempo turned on on his cd decks.
Got him sorted out over the phone:)
