im haveing deck 1 play in reverse in both rel. and abs., but in int. it works fine. Has anyone else had this problem? i have checked everything in the setup and its all how it should be, i have also tried switching the cables connected to the sl1 to the mixer and it did nothing.

Hello Nate,

Try reversing the rca cables going into the input of the SL1 so red goes to white and white goes to red.

thanks dude. That fixed it but it makes me wonder what the is really wrong with it. I still haven't tried useing my other deck on channel 1, if it works with no problem then i guess the guys at midwest stereo put the rca wire in wrong on the deck thats pluged in reversed.

This is a common problem due to a short somewhere either in the needle connecting to the tonearm or the rca coming from the turntable that is inverting the control signal going into the SL1.

Unless your having to switch the cables frequently I wouldn't worry about it.
If it becomes a pain then get your turntable serviced.
