Hello Dale P.,
There are a few steps to this process. First is to move your music from your external drive to your internal. Next is to move the contents of the 'Subcrates' folder from the hidden .ScratchLIVE folder (1.8 or earlier versions) or the _ScratchLIVE_ folder (1.8.1 or later) on your external, to the 'Subcrates' folder inside the 'ScratchLIVE' folder on your internal drive. Last is to use the relocate lost files feature to calculate the location of the files on the internal drive.
Step 1: Move your music library.
This pretty self explanatory. Copy your files from your external to your internal drive.
Place the files on your internal drive wherever your wanting them to live.
Step 2: Move the 'Subcrates' folder from the hidden .ScratchLIVE folder or the _ScratchLIVE_ folder on your external to the 'ScratchLIVE' folder on your internal drive.
To get to your hidden '.Scratch LIVE' folder or _ScratchLIVE_ folder on your external hard drive follow these directions:
PC users using 1.8 or earlier only:
1. Click on the 'Start' menu.
2. Click on the 'Control Panel'.
3. Make sure your in 'Classic' view (if your not in Classic view you will see a link on the left of the browser that says 'Switch to Classic View').
4. Click on 'Folder Options'.
5. Click on the 'View' tab.
6. Check the 'show hidden files and folders' option.
Now you'll be able to see the hidden file on your external. It will look grayed out compared to the other folders on your drive.
Open it up and then copy the contents of the 'Subcrates' folder to the'Subcrates' folder located inside the ScratchLIVE folder inside the 'My Music' folder on your internal drive.
Mac using all versions of SSL or PC using 1.8.1:
1. Open SSL.
2. Click on the 'import' tab.
3. Highlight your external drive in the import window.
4. Click on the .ScratchLIVE folder or the _ScratchLIVE_ folder.
5. Hold down apple+R (This will open up a separate browser showing you the contents of the hidden .ScratchLIVE folder or the _ScratchLIVE_ folder on your external).
Copy the contents of the 'Subcrates' folder to the 'Subcrates' folder located inside the ScratchLIVE folder inside the 'My Music' folder (PC) or 'Music' folder (Mac) on your internal drive.
Step 3: Use the 'Relocate lost files' feature to have SSL find the files on your new drive.
1. Open SSL.
2. Go to the 'setup' screen.
3. Click on the 'Library' tab.
4. Click on the green button icon in the upper left corner of the SSL screen (Mac) or click on the middle icon in the upper right corner of the SSL screen (PC) to minimize the screen allowing you to see your desktop.
5. Open up the browser from your desktop, highlight the folders your files are in, and drag/drop them onto the 'relocate lost files' tab inside SSL.
That should calculate the location of your files on your new drive. If it doesn't than try dragging/dropping different variations of the folders and or sub folders onto the 'relocate lost files' tab.
That should do the trick!

If there are only a couple songs in the crates than either you didn't transfer the correct crate files or your crate files are corrupt.
Are you moving the crate files that are stored in the Subcrates folder located in the _ScratchLIVE_ on your external to the Subcrates folder located in the 'ScratchLIVE' folder on your internal drive?
