I would try to hold off for a bit. I installed v8 the other day and haven't noticed anything weird yet, but that doesn't mean I wont :)

I installed and noticed scratch live will not read any new track that i import to itunes. it still read itunes, but it does not show any new tracks have been added in that itunes library link on the left bar.

the songs still show up just fine in the all music link and i have had no problems playing them in ssl at all, its just kind of worrisome that they don't show up especially when you are looking for new music. I am sure you have noticed how ssl attaches a number to each track as it is added to itunes, and that makes it real easy to find new stuff that you just loaded in. instead i have been just using the date added column that you can add into the all music.

i tried doing the read all tags again, no luck.

correction: using 1.8.2 it is adding the songs on the main itunes list but the newly added tracks are coming up in odd orders, instead of the newest track having the highest number. kind of odd but i guess its at least reading itunes now.
