I have been importing files in with no problems. Now they are being lost before my eyes,I found the missing files manually,re imported them and before I had used them they had disappeared again.I am using the newest version with a pc laptop. The laptop is nearly new and has 4 gig of ram. Each time I restart Scratch alot of tunes are missing, what am I doing wrong?Any help is greatly appreciated.I have less than a hundred mp3 files on this. Also when I use the search function it just places the missing file in a new crate, which is still missing?

Hi Warrensg, have you tried reinstalling Scratch LIVE? If this hasnt solved the problem, please try renaming your "database V2" file, which is inside your ScratchLIVE folder (inside your Music folder on Mac, or My Music folder on Windows.) If you're using an external hard drive, you'll need to rename the database V2 in there as well.

You could also try the latest 1.8.2 Beta version, which is available here: www.serato.com . If you decide to try it, please keep in mind that it's still a Beta, and its highly recommended that you follow the indications before installing it. Let us know how it goes. Cheers.

Hi Warrensg, please update Scratch LIVE to the latest version (1.8.2). You can download it here serato.com , or clicking the update button on the setup screen. This should take care of the missing files issue.
