Supp famz i have a few new songs that i have to keep biluilding overviews for, they r mp3 but just wondering what this problem is, every time i load one to a deck it always rebuilds the overviews
any suggestions on why this happens?
ive converted sum to wav format and tht fixed my problem but i dont wann be doing this every time i have this problem

Check to see if they are read only files. Another factor could be if the ID3 tag is full on the file itself and there fore isnt any room to store overview info on it.

Hello Owe,

If the files are 'read and write' then the only solution might be to reconvert the file.

sorry to reply late i just moved house,
they are not read only files how do i make the id3 tag un full sorry for my bad english

Sorry for the delayed response. I have been out of town.
Anyhow... Where are the files coming from?
External or internal drive?

I spoke with someone yesterday that was streaming files off of a network and was having the same issue. As soon as he put the files onto his internal drive it kept the overview information.

yeah its comming from an external drive, and i tried the re tagging option and it cleand up most of them just a few still need to rebuild each time i load em to a deck.
