More Cuepoints (via MIDI)

Thought it would be cool if we could utilize more cuepoints in a track by mapping them to MIDI strokes.
I noticed that Video-SL DJs sometimes work with long movies in their sets. I was thinking that it would be very helpful if they had more than 5 cuepoints to work with. Scratch DJs would get a kick out of this as well, since they could easily trigger all their scratch samples instead of just a few of them. We can have all the samples we want to use in a single track and reduce the amount of time scrolling through tracks and loading them onto decks
Making the extra cuepoints a part of the virtual deck might clutter the interface (unless they were confined to a scroll bar) so I was thinking using a MIDI device would be a good way to set and trigger these additional cuepoints. And with MIDI pads having at least 64 assignable triggers these days, something like this would definitely help get the best out of them

of course a good idea. hide the cues away in a Setup area tab... or something.

Thanks
Well, my idea for implementing it was for the user to:
(1) Press and hold the set cuepoint hotkey or the assigned TTM57SL button
(2) While still held down, hit the MIDI stroke you want that cuepoint to be assigned to
-Done! Whenever you hit that MIDI stroke, it will trigger that cue. Also, it will automatically override the last MIDI cuepoint should you make another MIDI cuepoint using the same pad on the same track
If you happen to map something that is already mapped to something that isn't a MIDI cuepoint (i.e. Pad 1 is already being used to load a deck), it would be nice to have a warning message saying something like "MIDI1 is already mapped to this command or this button, are you sure you want to override?"
And if these MIDI cuepoints could be saved with the track information, that would be SPECTACULAR
One more thing that isn't totally necessary but would be useful - a tab in the setup menu that lists what tracks and where you have MIDI cuepoints set, and also if you'd like to erase any MIDI cuepoint data from a particular track or all tracks
Anyway, thanks Serato for listening to our crazy ideas! :)

I think having separate banks of 5 cue points would be easier to implement.

I was thinking that but with the current format, you'd run out of colors and all the arrows would clutter the GUI

Bump.
I found this pretty necessary for video SL users. Cutting long videos into parts is somewhat of a hassle and can become confusing/awkward if its cut by time and not by scenes. More cuepoints are needed to sync the video with the music effectively. It would be loads of fun having scenes synched up to MIDI pads and triggering them on beat, essentially creating your own, improvised music video on the fly
Stumbled upon this SD video player by Edirol, modeled after the famous Roland SP samplers

It has 6 banks of 12 pads, allowing 72 possible triggers for video. But bleh, SD cards ftl

Another cool thing you could be able to do is divide your cuepoints on a MIDI keyboard, one side of keys dedicated to notes in deck 1, and the other half of keys dedicated to the drum hits of deck 2.
Neat since you could go from scratching to tight jamming without having to change a thing
