Hi vzlmcl, first make sure you have your 'source' knob is set to 'USB-MIDI'. This will tell the decks to work with the software instead of the CD, thumb drives, etc.

thanks. apparently, the mixdeck should be plugged to usb 2.0 not usb 3.0

Yes, sorry USB3.0 is not supported. You may get strange performance issues if you use it.
