So last night, every few mins or so, my screen would lock up for a few seconds. The sound stayed constant, and if I hit cue points they would still function.

My computer is a Vaio SA, 8gb ram, i5 and an SSD.

I've never had this issue before, last night was my first time using an X1 and CDjs though, if that would make any difference?

Were those devices connected USB?

The Sl 1 has some critical known issues with an i series processor on a PC but this isn't one of the known issues. Often times when the screen pauses but the audio remains fine, it is a lack of RAm or horsepower to the system. Serato designed the GUI to suffer before any glitch would effect the audio. At 8Gb of RAM you have more than enough but I wonder if it is being used effectively.

Has the issue happened again? If so has it happened without the X1 attached?
