Rane TTM Mixer making Serato quit unexpectedly

Just bought this mixer brand new, when I plug in the USB Serato Quits Unexpectedly. When I open Serato with the USB already attached, nothing happens. The blue light in the back is on but Serato doesn't pick up the program. My Mac is running on 32 bit, I already my friend's TTM mixer and it works fine, when I DJ at clubs that have the TTM Serato works flawlessly, but with mine it keeps crashing. What is the problem? Is this specific mixer bad?

Have you tried another USB cord and another Power Cord?

Does the Mixer do the same on another computer?

Yes I tried multiple usb cables and power cords. Does the same problem. Tried another computer and causes Serato to crash. Took it to Guitar Center today and the sales rep let me know that I need to upgrade my computer to OSX Lion for it to work flawlessly. Can this be true?

No. If the Mixer causes the same crash on another computer - the mixer probably needs repair.

No problem. Are you going to contact the Dealer? Or would you like to send it in for repair?

I had to return it to the dealer and ended up buying another one online. This one works perfect. Thanks for all your help!
