I downloaded the 2.4.1 version & I continue to get a hardware not connected reading. Just finished trouble shooting. Everything is connected, same reading.

What OSX are you using?

If it is 10.6.7 or before, I'd suggest updating to 10.6.8 and that should resolve the issue.

When you open Scratch lvie and go into the set-up screen, what is the 5 digit version number in the lower left hand corner?
