I am now on my second Twitch out of the box and have not been able to get any version of Serato Itch to work on my Mac.

Hi jmitchll,
Does your TWITCH unit still work correctly with ITCH otherwise? Or does it not connect at all?
Does your TWITCH appear as a sound device in system preferences > sound?

I just bought the twitch. Actually took it back to swap out for another brand new twitch.
On both twitch units I have been unable to get ITCH to work.
Yes, my twitch appears as a sound device in my sound preferences.
Hoping you can help me figure this out.
I contacted the novation support line and they felt like it wasn't a hardware problem.

Im sure we can get this solved.
Two things to try:
1. If you select it as a sound device for output in the system presences > sound settings, are you able to have any music play through the device if you were to play iTunes or something? This would be basically testing that your computer is able to use the TWITCH as a sound device and that the sound drivers are installed correctly.
2. If you go to Applications > Utilities > Audio MIDI Setup, does the TWITCH show up as an Audio Device here?
Then if you go to the top tool bar and select "window" and in the drop down menu select "show MIDI Window"
You should not see the MIDI Device Window. Does the TWITCH show up here? You may have to scroll across to see it.
Let me know what you find.

Hello,
Yes, I was able to play iTunes out of my twitch. So it seems to be communicating with my Mac
It also shows up in "Audio MIDI Setup" screen.
Appreciate you helping me out on this. Hope we can figure something out.

Cool, that sounds good so far, so we should be able to sort it out!
Ok, with the MIDI window open, if you were to DISCONNECT the TWITCH from your computer, you should still see a box with the TWITCH but it will be dim in comparison to when the unit was connected.
- Now, click on the TWITCH box in the MIDI window and then select "remove device" (an option on the top of the MIDI window)
- Now reconnect the TWITCH via USB and it should re-appear in the MIDI Window.
Now open ITCH, does it show the two virtual decks?

Hello -
Sorry I havent responded back in awhile.
I followed your latest message and I am still not having any luck with ITCH.
I have attached a screen shot to show you what "error" screen I am receiving when I start up ITCH.
Thanks again for your continued support!

Did you attach the screen shot? I can't see anything.
Have you tried using a different USB cable and connecting to a different USB port on the computer?
Have you ever tried connecting to a different computer other than your own?
