When i first updated my itch too 2.2 it worked fine but the minute i taked the plug out of my macbook the screen stayed split i then had to force it too quit. Then i went back in itch and as it finish booting up i then put the plug of my ns7 into the macbook. The screen split and everything but it then gave this loud screech sound and it does it every time now i was wondering if its my mac book or is it just itch not supporting the mac os x 10.7.3 Lion

THE NOISE comes from ur mac being in 64bit mode, serato say it support with a few issues, such as hanging when u unplugg from lion,

try boot in 32 bit mode, by holding the keys 3 and 2 during booting up of ur laptop, that temperarily boots in 32 bit mode. they are pernament way but u can search the forum to see how it is done. 32bit mode stop the noise

Hey Pushajr,

Had you ever experienced this issue before ITCH 2.2?

Does the NS7 still operate with out issue otherwise?

Had you previously been using OS X Snow Leopard before Lion?

Perhaps try BadBoyChubs' suggestion and see if there is any improvement and let me know :)

When you say you just updated your mac to this, do you mean you bought a new mac computer?

Were you using NS7 with an older computer before?

Did you update the operating system?

Did you try booting into 32bit mode?

how do i do that ?
BadBoyChubs 7:58 PM - 1 June, 2012
just fellow the method from support.apple.com
using method 1 will make not remember the 32bit after u restart,

so u can do method 1 to test to see if it will work, and when u see that Itch has stop the noise use method 2 , to change it for good, so even if u shut down u will not have to remember to boot in 32bit mode, it will do it automatically .

Correct, check the link BadBoyChubs posted to temporarily boot into 32-bit mode to see if there is any improvement.

It would be very helpful if you could answer some of the other questions I have asked in order for me to get an understanding of your situation better :)
