i just downloaded 2.2 on my computer, i plugged in the ns6 and uploaded my iTunes library but none of my songs will play. i have volume because i can play iTunes through the ns6 but when i use serato there isn't anything. the music tracks are not gray (thats happened to me before) and it shows that they are playing but with no sound. I'm also running on lion 10.7.4, but there wasn't an option for that version on the question scroll.
im baffled, don't know what it could be.

Hey chasing_chasen
Have you got a output (speakers) plugged in?
Try changing the switch above the volume faders from 'PC' to 'Line/Phono'
Let me know how you go.

i do have output speakers plugged in but there isn't a volume fader like that that i see. on the back there is only a line/mic, line/phono, and line/mic in the three channels but none of those look like they correlate to the output speakers, i don't really know to be honest lol

Hey chasing_chasen,
Im referring to the little switch just above the channel/volume faders in the mixer area of the NS6.
On which ever channels you are using, you have to make sure the little switch above that channel fader is switched to Line/Phono. In addition, also make sure that your speakers are plugged into the Master Output and not the Booth/Zone Output.
Let me know how you go with this.

Hey chasing_chasen,
Are your tracks that you're loading into the virtual decks still grey?

ya, the faders were on line/phono already before you asked me to change them. when i tried playing a song through serato with the ns6 disconnected it worked, but when i plugged ns6 in again it went grey again

Hey chasing_chasen,
That is really odd. What I'll get you to do is to restart your computer with the Numark NS6 connected. Once the computer has restarted open ITCH. Try changing the little switch above the channel faders to 'PC' and load a track in the virtual decks.

Hey chasing_chasen,
No I haven't heard of an issue such as this, but I'm very glad you have been able to sort it out.
For now, I'm going to close this thread. If you have any more issues that may arise from the usage of your Numark NS6 or the ITCH software, please don't hesitate to reopen this thread.
Cheers.
