i was having this problem the other day after i freshly installed itch on my new laptop, i found the problem was in the ns7 audio control program and it was changing the audio latency settings to 256 all by itself
do you have a seperate program like that with the ns6? i found it in the start menu
mine would make horrible distortion noises after about 10 mins and once i changed it manually to the lowest latency it was fine

this is all seperate to changing the latency in the setup menu in itch itself

i have the v7 and the djx750 mixer but i dont know how ro record from itch i try to use the live but no luck

I hear your frustration. There could be a number of things going on here.

Are you able to record this distortion change and then send me a clip?

1) What is your Buffer set to? ITCH>Setup>Hardware>Buffer size latency. The lower the latency e.g.. 2, 1 the more chance of distortion. Maybe try it on 5 -10.

2) We should optimize your setting for Audio as well to make double sure. Follow Link: serato.com

3)Try using a different USB cable and make sure you are connected directly into your PC and not through a USB hub unless it is powered.

Try this things and then play with your NS6 at home for an hour and see how you go :)
