im looking to buy a mac i was gonna get the quad core i7 but apparentlyitch doesnt suport amd processors so what mac should i get
money is not an issue i just want to run itch with my ns6 and have the sampler player cuz im stuck with itch 1.8 and if i upgrade i wanna get a mac so whats the best one for itch andns6??

I got the baseline 15 inch macbook pro 2011 with the intel quad core i7 4gb ram 500gb 7200 rpm drive & amd graphics with 512mb video ram. This thing work wonders no issues no dropouts. Any mac model will do fine. Good luck with your purchase.

well iwent on the apple sit and wated to get the 15'' quad core but on the itch fourm they say itch doesnt run amd proccesors

Yes amd processors aren't compatible with serato but apple macbook pros only use INTEL processors. It's their graphics that use amd graphics processors. These are 2 different things. Again intel quad core on a mac so you'll be fine with the 15 inch model.

Hi there bidner420,

Good to hear you are looking at getting a Mac, we recommend the Macbook Pro line for all of our DJ software. Any macbook pro model will work perfectly.

If you read the ITCH site it will say that we do not support AMD processors for windows machines only. Apple do not include AMD processors in their Macbook Pro line, only AMD graphics cards.
