tried everything, it shows up in sound choices but dont hear anything..

You have it plugged into some speakers?
You have turned the trim up to 12 o'clock
Turn your levels fully up
Crossfader in the middle
Turn the master volume up till you hear something?

Power Supply for DDJ-S1 is plugged in if your using XLR?
