Everytime I connect the ddj to the computer, ITCH crashes. I've tried all the obvious things, reinstalling the software/drivers, using different inputs etc. I've had everything running smoothly on excactly the same hardware / specs before. So I'm clueless. Any Suggestions?

Hey Martin,

Sounds frustrating, firstly when you say it crashes does it shut down ITCH or just hang/freeze?
When you say your re-installed drivers did you download the latest from the Pioneer website?
What are you computer spec's exactly?

Hey Dave

I can have Itch open and working with no hardware connected, but when i connect my Ddj the dreaded windows dialog box comes up saying that a problem has been detected and itch is being shut down. Or if The hardware is connected to begin with, Itch will just crash when i start up the software. I downloaded the latest drivers from pioneer, and discovered that the ones i had were already up to date. I've attached a screenshot of my pc specs. Some of it is in danish, but i assume you can make sense of it ;)

So I messed around with a hole lot of different things. One of them was uninstalling a bunch of drivers that came with Pro Tools, and that has fixed the problem. But do you have any clue why these things are connected? I can use Pro tools on an older / slower pc, but thats not really that nice ;)

Hey Martin,

O.k great work! We have seen issues with Pro tools driver's conflicts with Serato software on Mac, not P.C yet though. I'd like to work with you further on this to do some testing and maybe it will help get to the bottom of what exactly is conflicting driver wise.

Firstly which Drivers did you uninstall?

If you re-install them would you mind doing some tests so we can see if we can get them running together?
