track skip with effects upon engaging

When I am in the middle of playing a track. With all dj-fx options off ( so A, B not selected for a deck , and fx A and fx B off as well on top) When I select the effect that i want to use, the track will sound like a skip when i go to turn on the effect with the FX A or FX B buttons intermittently.

Is it happening with any effect in particular? I've had a play round with the setup and can't make it skip... Anything thing else you can add, i'll try and re-produce the issue.
