1. Plugged unit into laptop (MBP 13" Dec 2009) as per usual
2. Connected Booth out to amp (home stereo I have used numerous times in the past but first with Twitch). I'm using the booth out as I forgot the TS to RCA wire, but have a RCA to RCA.
3. Load tune into deck B (mix for dinner) and all seems OK except no audio out. I plug in my headphones and still no audio out. Booth switch is to master, knob is to 1/4 and VUs are working (headphone cue on and off), and headphone level at about 3/8.
4. Reboot Mac and no difference.
5. Unplug Twitch and re-plug while Itch is loaded. BINGO! We have audio :)

This is not the first time this happened (happened once at home) and the solution was the same, unplug-plug with Itch on.

Itch behaves as it should with displaying the "hardware disconnected" and then goes back to the regular Twitch display once reconnected.

Problem resolved but this is unexpected behavior. Let me know if I messed any details!

I've seen this as well. Macbook pro 15" 2011 - Currently using Itch 2.2

It's mostly annoying during a quick changeover...

Hey Guys,

This is interesting, so when you first connect your TWITCH do you have ITCH open or do you open afterwards?

For me, initially I plugged everything in and then started Itch. After the reboot, I started Itch with everything still connected. AT this point I left Itch running and did a unplug/plug and everything worked fine.

When the audio wouldn't play, the VUs and everything were working, just no audio through the Booth or Headphones.

The only other time it happened was at home on the second or third day of having the Twitch (with Itch 2.2), the same unplug/plug with Itch running worked.

Try going to the Utilities> Audio MIDI Setup > Then go to the task bar at the top of screen > Window > MIDI Window > In there you should see the TWITCH Midi Icon show up, without TWITCH connected delete the icon then reconnect the TWITCH. The TWITCH Icon should show up again.

See if that helps and report back :)

OK, did as you suggested. Easily erased and popped back up a couple of seconds after plugging in the Twitch. I, of course, didn't check this at the time of the incident, but I will if it happens again, though I doubt this was the case as the Twitch did react to all commends (Play, Cue, Gain and channel faders, etc.) but would not output audio.

O.k let me know if it happens again and we can look at some other options.
