Sometimes ITCH seems to corrupt wav files. Also, sometimes wav files load, but the bass doesn't play through, and if I load the same file on the other side it plays fine. I have been buying tunes from trackitdown.net and I'm also using Scratch Live on the same machine, only rarely at the same time with ITCH, but I'm wondering if that may have led to the issue with the corrupt files. Setting cue points may have something to do with it since I was doing some of that around the time they became corrupted. Thanks.

could be the analyze algorithm with these mastered wavs I'm getting from trackitdown.net. They say they pass on the same wav file they get. So far I haven't been able to determine the pattern, but if I run through these wavs enough, one of them gets corrupted and blanked out, except for a serato tag at the end it seems.

Hey EDinATL,
WAV files with the RIFF chunk missing at the end of the file are causing this issue, we discovered this was happening and fixed it by filling that chunk. It's fixed in the Scratch Live 2.4.2 Beta. serato.com
however, until we release a new update of ITCH this will unfortunately still occur with .WAV files, be assured that with the next release it will be fixed. Only work around at this stage is to use .MP3's or roll back to ITCH 1.8.1. Sorry, hope to bring a new update out soon.
