Just trying to find out if this computer will work well with serato itch for a pro setting...Here are the specs.....

HP - 13.3" Folio Ultrabook
Processor Intel® 2nd Generation Core™ i5
Processor Speed 1.6GHz (with Turbo Boost up to 2.3GHz)
System Memory (RAM) 4GB
Video Memory Up to 1696MB total available
System Version 64-bit
Serato, Support

Hi djsquizz,

The minimum specs for a V7s on a windows 7 64-bit operating system are as follows: serato.com

Processor - 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo
RAM - 4GB

I don't know if I could confidently say this computer will work well in a pro setting, being that you are sitting just on the minimum spec for RAM, and on top of that you have an NSFX.

The other question would be whether a 1.6GHz i5 is a more capable than 2.4Ghz Core 2 Duo, which I believe it is, but probably not by heaps.

If it is possible, I would see if you are able to try testing this computer with your V7 and NSFX setup and try and push it to the limits before making the purchase.

Again, the specs on our website are the minimum requirements, and you can always benefit by having more than the required, especially if you have a large library, and plan to mix video at all in the future.
