So out 0f 10 events I DJ, 2-3 of them get a massive error that happens for about 10secs once a night in those 2-3 shows.

Im djing, and within the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th hour of my set deck 1 or 2's wave goes 5 seconds into the song that has already been playing for whatever amount of time then stops the song. It then only stays silent and if i press a Cue (any cue any area in song) it only plays 5 seconds then it stops. 10-15secs of this mess then the music starts up again and the issue doesnt happen again the whole night.

what can this be?

PS: Since the new meta update for videos (which i read all my videos will redo the meta info), some of the videos analaze everytime i play them, the other videos analyze once and thats it but with specifics ex. snoop - aint no fun, it keeps analyzing everytime it gets played. thank u

Hi RapMaRz,

Generally the dropouts and crashes that you are talking about will be due to corrupt files. Have you analyzed all of your video files in Scratch Live and removed any corrupt files from your library ?

If the tags are re writing every time on track load this could be because the file does not support metadata.

If you could attach one of the files that keeps writing the tag to this thread and I will have a look at it here.

ok, when i get the chance i will attach a file. I've been using these files over and over for more then 2 years and it has been ok with the metadata, its only when i switched to the new SL that it started happening. The Files don't show up as corrupt on SL either.

i use firewire 800, then also used eSata. Those are faster mediums.
