Hi lorenzo,
Are you saying that when you connect your Pioneer DDJ-ERGO you still get a "Hardware Disconnected" error message?
There are a few reasons your computer might not read the controller as being connected:
• Firstly, make sure you have the correct drivers installed (with permissions).
Please download the latest Pioneer ERGO driver here >
www.pioneerelectronics.com
• Once that is downloaded to your desktop, unzip the folder, right-click on the .EXE file and select "Run as Administrator". This will allow the installer to run correctly with all permissions.
After the drivers are installed, try disconnecting the ERGO and quitting DJ Intro, then reconnecting the ERGO and restarting DJ Intro.
If that doesn't work, Windows may be assigning the controller as a sound device.
• To un-assign your controller:
- Open Start Menu > Control Panel > Sound
- Right click on your controller and select 'disable'
Your controller should now connect with Serato DJ Intro.
Try this and let me know how you get on :)
