Playing .mp4 format videos with h264 codec, CQ:20/keyint=25/AAC setting exhibits poor performance regardless of quality setting in Serato Video, very choppy
Same videos play smoothly in Quicktime or VLC.
I have buffer setting to maximum, what other options can I tweak?
System is MBP6,2 2.66GHZ/8GB RAM. Perian 1.2.3 installed

Hey DJGongshow,
Sorry about the slow response, our Support Team has been very busy.
Do you know the amount of VRAM your video card has? What kind of Video card is it?
Have you tried moving the video buffer setting to the left? What is your quality of your output in the Video settings?

I would recommend moving the video buffer to around the 512MB rather than having it at the maximum.

set to best quality... reducing the buffer helped considerably, now almost as smooth as quicktime
