Hi there,

I see that the rated specs for the VCI-300 MKII power supply is DC7.5V and 1000mA, I have a spare power supply at home that is DC7.5V and 1500mA.

I'm just wondering if this will be okay to use?

Thanks

I've also found a DC6V and 1000mA adapter, I'm thinking the second power adapter might be better to use?

I've just done research and have found that, as long as the voltages match and the current amp of the power adapter is NOT less than what is recommended - everything should be fine.

So in this instance, the first adapter (7.5V/1500mA) will work perfectly fine.

Hi ongsta,

You should be fine. I've tested it and it works. I will go ahead and close this thread in the meantime. Please let me know if you need further assistance or start a new thread. Thanks.
