Hey DJ LRock,

Could be something to do with the USB 3.0 connection, it's widely known that sometimes devices have issues with 3.0 & 2.0 cross over.

That being said firstly, does your HD show up at all on your P.C ?

The HD does show up on the pc. All the files play fine both video and music. Whenever the HD is plugged in, status says "loading crates" and crashes.

You maybe need to rebuild DatabaseV2 file, here is some instructions to do that:
serato.com
