I recently just got a rage 57 and in the group b6 when i press B1 or B2 there is a lock that locks next to the tempo and when i change the perimeters of the echo and etc it goes back to default. on my friends 57 his doesn't do that. how do i fix this?

What parameters of the effect are you changing (which knob are you moving)?
What is the "default" setting?

You want the lock next to the effect.
That lets you know the bpm of the track is locked to the effect.
If its not locked to the effect the effect won't be in sync with the track your playing.
Moving the J1 knob will unlock the effect but, as I said, this is not what you want to do.

I'm sorry.. I meant move the P1 knob to get rid of the lock.
If moving the J1 knob isn't changing the beat its going to be because its not enabled.
Press down on the J knob like its a button (into the mixer).
This will enable it.
Once enabled you'll see the parameters in the software, for the J1 knob, turn white indicating that its enabled.
You'll also see a green light underneath the actual J knob on your mixer.
