HI,
I have Itch 2.2 with Denon HC500.

I'm wondering if my laptop is REALLY good enough to utilize itch to it's full potential. I do not mix or otherwise DJ with any videos, just mp3's. With that being said I have a Dell Inspiron 1545 (150gb Hard drive) with a Pentium Dual Core T4200 @ 2ghz each, 4gb ram and it's running windows Vista (32 bit) with SP2.

My question is, I was thinking about buying a new internal hard drive, maybe a 750gb, but should I just take that money and put it towards a new laptop? And if I should buy a new laptop, what procesor speed and ram would be ideal (not minimum required, but something that will definitely work with zero issues?

I just want to spend some money to get my current laptop up to top performance, where it will carry me thru for the next few years without having buyers remorse.... basically I'm just not sure if it's really worth sinking anymore money into.

Thanks so much for your help!

Hey Dj Rocco 1970,

I think that for best performance you want be well above minimum spec's. That being said if you don't intend to upgrade your HC500 at all you could quite easily stay above spec on the version you are on and update you hard drive space for loading more songs and store other data. . . .However be cautious with have extra large databases and Libraries as once you get an extremely large amount of crates and song files you can get into issues with the RAM cache over running.
I guess it's up to you and what sort of budget you have to be spending money on new computers or controllers. My advise is to always do you research (as you are now) when updating or upgrading. We have minimum spec's for all ITCH controllers on our Website :)
Hope this helps.
