First off.. if you haven't already, please update your OS to 10.6.8.
If your still having issues try this:

Quit all programs completely.

1. Open your Macintosh HD drive.
2. Click on your HD icon.
3. Click on 'system'.
4. Click 'library'.
5. Click 'Extentions'.
6. Delete the 'SeratoScratchDriver.kext'.

Now re install SSL.

Any luck?

kalie 5:19 PM - 21 March, 2012
So... do I have to delete the Serato app too?
kalie 5:24 PM - 21 March, 2012
I wont know if it will work untill I go to a club that has the Serato Mixer... Like it works with the Serato box but doesnt connect with the TTM57SL
kalie 5:25 PM - 21 March, 2012
Will I see or can look for anything different even if I cant get to a TTM57SL right now?

Deleting the kext file is simply deleting the driver. Not the app.
Once the driver is deleted you will need to plug a 57 into your computer and reinstall SSL.

Thats what Im saying.. I dont have a 57. All I did was download the latest serato... My serato box I have works fine... but when i go to the clubs that have the Serato mixer (TTM57SL)... It wont connect
kalie 5:42 PM - 21 March, 2012
Do u think when I plug in the 57.. My computer goes into a 64bit mode?

Yes I understand.
Do what I'm suggesting above to fix the issue.

You will need to have a 57 plugged in in order to re-install the driver for the 57.

Updating to 10.6.8 will fix any 64 vs 32 bit compatibility.
It could very well fix the entire issue without needing to delete the kext file.
If it doesn't, follow my instruction on deleting the kext file and reinstalling SSL with the 57 plugged in.

Ok.. Now for the first time, my serato program quit on me.. Not while I was playing but when I unplugged the usb.. Its updated OSX 10.6.8

These are the things I did before the problem:
I tried to split the Mac to Pc, using Boot Camp App.. but it couldn't do it. said something about corrupt files

After that I downloaded acapellas off the internet

I added a software called Beams DJ

I deleted Serato App cause after all of that.. it Froze on me for the first time

After that I analyzed all the music

Re-added Serato App

Then it quit the other night

I don't know whats going on
thanks

At this point please rebuild your databaseV2 file(s)
--> serato.com

Also do this:

Please open SSL.
Click the 'files' tab.
Click the 'rescan id3 tag' tab.
Let it finish scanning and then unplug your Rane hardware and press 'analyze files'.
If it starts analyzing files let it do its thing.
Once its done analyzing look through your 'all' section and delete ANY corrupt files found.
