I've been recently having trouble with Scratch Live, Audio and waveform have been dropping out.It happens every so often audio will drop and waveform will disappear for a second then reappear. I use CDJ 900's in HID mode and have switched it to relative mode and still did not work properly. If I can please get some assistance with the issue I am having, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Where is your music stored?

Are you using any USB hubs?

Are all of your files in Scratch Lvie analyzed? Have you removed any files that have a little icon next to it looking like a cd with a crack or lightning bolt through it.

It might be because your on a PC that is using an "i" intel processor using the SL-1?? You might need to upgrade to an SL-2

If all of your music is stored internally, how much free space do you have remaining?

What are you connecting into the USB hub?

I would turn off the User Account Controls. Here is a link to the tutorial -->serato.com

After doing so I would also run a disk defrag on your internal HD.

Waveform drop outs are usually an HD issue or something I have seen when video files are in the library. Just to confirm, do you have any videos in the library?

There are known issues with your processor and hardware where the audio will drop out. That is known and it is why we do not recommend the combination you are using.

My advice would be to try a different computer, one without the i series processor or try with an Sl 2 or Sl 3 box. Either can help confirm the known issue.

would I have any problems running a sl4

The Sl 4 is not effected by the i series issues on PC. That device is USB 2.0 and the problem is only present with the USB 1.1 devices.
