I had just grown accustomed to ITCH 2.1 when my XONE DX began to freeze whenever a track was being loaded. The audio would completely stop for 2 seconds whenever a new track was cued on the ajacent deck, a pretty bad situation for live performance. The XONE had recently been given its firmware update which I guess must have done it. Hit up the forum, folks suggested backing off to ITCH 1.7 which I did. The issue is currently fixed, but I'm bummed that this relatively new and fairly pricey board is not working with ITCH 2.1. Is this a known issue, and if so, is there a bug fix in the works for the next revision of ITCH? I'm really hoping so, 1.7.1 doesn't have nearly the same colour and modular interface quality that 2.1 did.

Hi Agent Meow,

So using 1.7 you dont experience this problem at all, but using ITCH 2.1 you do?

Can you try re-analyzing ALL your files with ITCH 2.1 and removing any that show up as a corrupt?

Thanks for the response. I did that right off the bat when I began experiencing the issue, but will do it once again just to make sure, then report on what happens.

Yep, please, and ensure no files are corrupt.

Do you have both 1.7 and 2.1 installed right now? How does 1.7 go for you at the moment?

Do you have any other USB devices connected to your computer when using ITCH?

I have both 1.7 and 2.1 concurrently. 2.1 has been rescanned, I will try playing some music tomorrow. 1.7 is functionally fine, I just don't like the interface nearly as much.

Ok thats cool, let me know how you go after reanalyzing files. Definitely remove any files that are corrupt showing this symbol: serato.com

These files can cause problems just by sitting in your library even if you aren't playing them at time.
